About Me

I am a Cloud Support Engineer at Amazon Web Services based in Cape Town, South Africa. I specialize in containers, Kubernetes, and DevOps tooling on AWS. I am a recognized Amazon EKS Subject Matter Expert (SME), helping enterprise customers design, deploy, and troubleshoot production Kubernetes workloads at scale.

My daily work involves deep-diving into complex networking issues, VPC CNI configurations, CI/CD pipeline failures, and container orchestration problems. I work with technologies including Amazon EKS, ECS, Fargate, Terraform, ArgoCD, Prometheus, and Grafana.

I hold multiple AWS certifications and additional credentials in data streaming (Confluent), multi-cloud networking (Aviatrix), and graph APIs (Apollo GraphQL). I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science alongside a Postgraduate Diploma in IT.
